Key Dates to know for the Nov. 8th Election
Oct. 10 — Sonoma County Registrar of Voters begins sending mail-in-ballots and voter information guides to voters. The county will also begin opening ballot drop-boxes.
Oct. 11 — All ballot drop-boxes will be open. The boxes will be available 24/7 until 8 p.m. on Nov. 8. A list of drop-box locations is available on the registrar of voters’ website.
Oct. 24 — The last day to register for a mail-in-ballot. Sonoma County residents can register via the California Secretary of State’s website.
Oct. 29 — Seven voting centers open for in-person voting in Sonoma County. The centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Oct. 29 and Nov. 7, and will be open on Nov. 8 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. A list of all voting center locationsis available on the registrar of voters’ website.
